Hexply Non-Slip Marine Plywood - 2400x1200 | Anti-Slip Hex Film Face

17mm marine-grade plywood with a hexagonal anti-slip film face. The dark phenolic surface is embossed with a hex grip pattern, so it holds boots and wheels when the sheet is wet, greasy or dusty. That is the whole difference between a smooth film-faced sheet and a floor people can actually walk on.

What it gets used for

Trailer and truck decks, horse floats and stock crates, ute and van floors, scaffold platforms and work stages, ramps, walkways and stair treads, mezzanine floors, and any temporary works surface where someone is walking on plywood in the rain.

Hex face or smooth face?

Both sheets are marine bonded and film faced. The difference is what the face is for. A smooth film face is built to release from concrete and wipe clean, which is what you want in formwork and wet areas. A hex face is built to grip. If people, pallet jacks or livestock are moving across the sheet, buy the hex. If it is a form panel, the smooth 17mm marine sheet is the cheaper answer.
