A one cubic metre bulk bag rated to 1000kg, lined, and printed with the asbestos warning , so removal waste leaves site in the right container with the right marking on it. Duffle top for filling and sealing, flat closed bottom, four lifting loops.

Using it for asbestos waste

Asbestos waste must be contained, sealed and labelled, and transported and disposed of in accordance with the requirements of your state regulator and your licensed removalist's control plan. Bulk bags handle the volumes that double-bagging in 200µm polythene cannot — sheeting, insulation, contaminated soil and demolition arisings.

This bag is a container. Whether it satisfies the requirements of your specific removal job, waste transport certificate and receiving facility is a decision for your licensed removalist, your control plan and your EPA requirements. Check with your disposal facility before you fill 40 of them.

Questions

How do I lift it? All four loops together, forklift tynes or crane hook. Never lift on two loops.

Is it single use? Yes. Used for hazardous waste is a single-trip container. Do not reuse it.

Do I still need to wrap the waste? Follow your control plan. The liner is a containment layer, not a substitute for the wrapping and sealing your removal method requires.

Will my landfill accept it? Check first. Receiving facilities have their own requirements for container type, labelling and waste tracking paperwork.
