Birch Marine Plywood 19mm - 2400x1200
19mm marine plywood with a birch core and birch face, pale and uniform right through the edge. Void-free lay-up, thin consistent plies, and a surface that takes paint, clear finish, laminate or a router bit without tearing out.
- Birch Throughout face, back and core, so the exposed edge is a finish rather than something to hide
- Marine Bond weather-and-boil-proof glue line for wet and marine work
- 19mm — the structural joinery thickness: carcass, bulkhead, benchtop substrate, tread
- Thin Consistent Plies more laminations at the same thickness means a stiffer, flatter, more stable sheet
- Void Free no core gaps to appear when you machine an edge or drop a hinge in
- Machines Cleanly CNC routing, edge profiling and joinery cuts come out crisp
What it gets used for
High-end joinery and shopfitting where the layered edge is left visible. CNC and laser work. Flight cases, speaker boxes and road cases. Display and exhibition build. Boat building — hulls, decks, bulkheads and interior fitout. Stair treads and furniture where a 19mm sheet has to hold its shape.
Birch or hardwood-core marine ply?
Both are marine bonded. Birch gives you the pale even face, the clean edge, more plies for stiffness, and better machining. A hardwood-core sheet is the cheaper structural answer where nothing is on show. Buy birch when the sheet is going to be seen, machined, or finished clear.
