E10 grade laminated veneer lumber, 90 x 45mm, 6 metre lengths, certified to AS/NZS 4357.0. Straighter than sawn timber, stronger for its section, and it stays that way — LVL does not bow, twist or spring the way a solid stick can. A-Bond glue line, E0 formaldehyde emission.

Where LVL beats sawn timber

Anywhere the member has to be straight and stay straight. Lintels and headers over openings, rafters and joists at span, stud walls that have to be dead plumb, and any application where a bowed stick means a wavy wall or a door that will not close in six months.

You also get more out of a smaller section. LVL at E10 carries a load a comparable sawn section will not, so the member can be shallower — which matters when ceiling height or floor depth is tight.
