Where it earns its keep

Does it need a hammer drill? It works in rotary or hammer mode. Use hammer for brick and block, rotary for tile and fibre cement so you do not blow the face out.

Is it a substitute for a proper SDS bit? No. For repeat holes in hard concrete use an SDS carbide bit. This kit is for mixed-substrate fix-out work.
