Portable Air Mover | Construction Site Air Circulation & Ventilation
120 m³/min through a 400mm outlet, and it will push that air through 38 metres of straight duct. The HSS400 Air Mover is the workhorse air mover, ventilating confined spaces, drying slabs and screeds, clearing fumes out of basements and tunnels, and spot cooling crews in a hot roof.
At 18 kg and roto-moulded, this compact, convenient and powerful unit is a suitable addition for transporting around in your work ute. Built for day-to-day work site ventilation tasks to maintain a safe working environment for your crews.
- 4238 CFM Air Volume 120 m³/min through a 400mm (16") outlet
- 38 m Duct Capability connect up to 38m of straight ducting and still move air at the face
- Low Amp Draw 830 W, so it shares a circuit with the rest of your gear
- Sealed Industrial Motor low temperature rise, built for continuous running
- Roto-Moulded HDPE Housing takes the knocks that kill sheet-metal fans
- Stacks 4 High four units travel in one footprint
- Carry Handle and Cord Wrap one-hand carry, no tangled lead in the tray
- Large-Blade Design more air per watt than a small high-speed fan
- 240 V / 50 Hz standard plug, no three-phase
What crews actually use it for
Ventilating dusty enclosed work sites, confined spaces, pits, tanks, basements, tunnels, where the fan has to sit outside and the air has to travel. Purging welding fume and solvent vapour out of enclosed work areas. Drying slabs, screeds, render and water damage. Spot cooling crews working in roof spaces and unconditioned buildings through summer. Moving air across a containment to help a scrubber turn the volume over faster.
The 38 metre duct run is what separates it from a pedestal fan. In confined space work the fan cannot be at the face, and a unit that loses its airflow after ten metres of duct is not doing the job you bought it for.
Pairs with your Neg Air Units / Scrubbers for silica dust or hazmat work
An air mover shifts air; it does not clean it. On dusty work, run the unit alongside a HEPA Negative Air pressure unit or scrubber, the blower moves the volume, the scrubber captures the particulate.

Questions
How much duct can I run? Up to 38 metres of straight 400 mm ducting. Bends cost you airflow, keep them to a minimum and use long-radius where you can.
Can I use it in a confined space? It is designed for confined space ventilation with the unit outside and duct running in. Confined space entry has its own permit and monitoring requirements — this is the fan, not the procedure.
Will it filter dust? No. It moves air. For dust capture pair it with a Negative Air Pressure Unit or HEPA scrubber.
Do you stock ducting? Yes, 400 mm PVC flex duct in standard lengths sold separately
